Commercial finance with an analytical edge

I'm a Finance Associate at Alphamed, part of Al Khayyat Investments (AKI) — one of the region's leading pharmaceutical distribution groups. My work sits where accounting discipline meets commercial judgement: closing the books accurately, then explaining what the numbers actually mean for the business.

Day to day, the work runs in three layers:

  • 01 Close the period Month-end closing across accruals, provisions and reconciliations — delivered on schedule with a clean audit trail.
  • 02 Explain the numbers Variance analysis to surface the real drivers behind results, plus P&L and margin performance across pharmaceutical brands and sales-versus-target reviews.
  • 03 Protect the position Credit and debit notes, reimbursements, principal reconciliations, and provisions tied to governmental sales and principal agreements — keeping the financial position accurate and appropriately risk-covered.

I hold a BSc in Financial Science & Computational Banking and I'm currently a CMA Part 1 candidate. I build my own reporting: advanced Excel modelling, Oracle ERP, and dashboards in Qlik Sense and Power BI that turn raw transactional data into something decision-makers can act on.
